It’s time to focus on you. Let’s chat.
I help women in their 20s and 30s who find themselves focused outward, always caring for others. They have put themselves on the back burner for a LONG TIME. They know something needs to change but they don’t know what it is or even where to start.
My clients struggle like you do. Despite being hilarious, insightful and incredibly intelligent, life is hard. When they first come in, they’re not sure where to begin. They have felt stuck in their lives for so many months that they are starting to lose hope that anything can change.
They are used to taking care of everyone around them (kids, partner, friends) and kicking butt professionally, but they find themselves irritable, sensitive, and unable to hold it together. They wonder if this is just how life is now; incredibly stressful and full of dread.
They criticize themselves for all the ways they aren’t stacking up to their friends and others they see online. Then they feel bad about criticizing themselves because they know they are supposed to have self-compassion…add it to the list of things they aren’t doing “right”. Their constant worry gets in the way of the life they want in so many ways. They aren’t the kind of partner they want to be. They are concerned about their parenting. And their confidence at work is tanking, too.
Before coming to see me, they couldn’t imagine sharing some of these thoughts with a stranger. They worried that therapy was just “paying someone to be their friend” and that there was something inherently wrong with them for needing that extra support.
Like my clients you deserve to get unstuck and find a way forward. Figuring out healthy ways to manage your stress and anxiety is not out of your reach. If you want to tell that loud, critical voice in your head to take a hike, I’d love to help you get there.
Call now. You don’t have to struggle. I can help.
