Sometimes you don't need an emotional overhaul. Sometimes you just need consistent, reliable support to process, grow, and reconnect with yourself without turning your life upside down.

Regular 60-minute or 90-minute sessions at your pace. Come as you are. Vent, process, untangle your brain spaghetti. Slow and steady progress with no pressure to have it all figured out.

Individual therapy

You have a consistent place to show up—one hour a week that's just yours. No performing, no pretending you're fine. You process what's heavy, untangle what's confusing, and start to feel more grounded in your own skin.

Over time, the things that felt overwhelming become manageable. The relationships that felt stuck start to shift. Your goals for the future stop feeling impossible and start feeling real. You take a full breath for the first time in months—maybe years.

This isn't about fixing yourself in six weeks. It's about steady, sustainable progress that actually sticks.

Here's What Your Life Could Look Like

Ready for your life to change?

Here's what's probably happening right now:

You're functioning, but everything feels heavy You're getting through the day—work, family, responsibilities—but it all feels like you're walking through mud. You're exhausted just from existing, and you can't remember the last time things felt light.

You know something's off, but you can't name it Nothing's catastrophically wrong, but you're not okay either. You feel stuck, disconnected, or like you're just going through the motions. You want to feel like yourself again, but you're not sure how to get there.

You're carrying too much alone You're the person everyone leans on. You don't want to burden your friends or partner with what's really going on. You need a space that's just for you—where you can let it all out without worrying about anyone else.

You've been pushing through for too long You've been telling yourself you're fine, you'll get through it, it's not that bad. But it is that bad. And you're tired of pretending it isn't.

But here's what changed everything for my clients:

They stopped waiting to fall apart before getting support. They stopped believing they had to have a "good enough reason" to be in therapy. They realized that wanting to feel better—wanting to reconnect with themselves, wanting space to process—was reason enough.

Therapy isn't just for crisis. It's for growth. It's for maintenance. It's for becoming the version of yourself you actually want to be.

I get it. Because I've worked with a lot of women who felt exactly like this. And I've definitely felt this way myself.

but guess what...

Individual Therapy for
Midlife Women

This is ongoing, one-on-one support tailored to your pace and your goals. We'll work on what matters to you—whether that's managing anxiety, navigating relationships, processing grief, setting boundaries, or just figuring out who you are underneath all the roles you play.

What you get:

60- or 90-minute ongoing sessions (weekly or biweekly)
A consistent space that's just for you
Therapy approaches tailored to your needs
Time to process, reflect, and integrate between sessions
No pressure to "fix" yourself on someone else's timeline

You'll learn practical tools to calm your nervous system, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and create space between what happens and how you react. You'll stop feeling like anxiety is running your life.

You'll get clear on what you actually want and need—and how to communicate it without apologizing for taking up space. You'll learn to say no without the crushing guilt that usually follows.

Here's What You'll Learn

Managing Anxiety & Overwhelm

Setting Boundaries Without Guilt

You'll rediscover who you are underneath all the roles you play—partner, parent, employee, caretaker. You'll rebuild trust in your own instincts and start making decisions that actually align with what you want.

Reconnecting With Yourself

You'll untangle the stories you've been carrying and the patterns that keep repeating. We'll work through old wounds at your pace, without re-traumatizing you or pushing you faster than you're ready to go.

Processing Past Experiences

how it works

We'll start with an initial session to understand what brought you in, what you're struggling with, and what you want your life to look like. I'll ask questions. You'll talk. We'll get clear on where we're headed.

First: We figure out what you actually need

Weekly or biweekly sessions—whatever rhythm works for you. We'll process what's heavy, work on specific skills, and give you tools to use between sessions. This isn't about forcing breakthroughs. It's about steady progress.

Then: We meet consistently at your pace

You'll try new things. You'll notice patterns. You'll journal, reflect, or just sit with what came up. Change happens in the moments between sessions, not just during them.

Finally: You integrate and practice between sessions

Stop carrying everything alone and have a space that's just for you

Build tools to manage anxiety instead of white-knuckling through every day

Set boundaries without the crushing guilt that usually follows

Process what you've been avoiding and start to feel lighter

Reconnect with who you are underneath all the roles you play

Trust yourself again and make decisions that actually feel right

If you want this to be the year that you *finally*:

HEY THERE!

I'm Carrie, Your New Guide To Emotional Health

I became a therapist because I believe women deserve space to fall apart, process, and rebuild without being told to just push through or stay positive. Too many of us have been carrying too much for too long with no one asking, "Are you okay?"

I specialize in therapy for women navigating burnout, anxiety, and the exhausting weight of trying to do it all.

I've worked with women who look like they have it all together—successful careers, loving families, full lives—but inside they're drowning. The ones who feel guilty for wanting more, for not being grateful enough, for struggling when "nothing's really wrong."

My approach is direct, compassionate, and customized. I won't sugarcoat things, but I also won't judge you for where you are or how long it takes to get where you want to be.

Life is hard. You're not broken for needing help with this.

Therapy can help because....

It's built for women who are tired of pretending

You don't have to perform here. You don't have to have it together. You can show up messy, exhausted, confused, angry—whatever you're actually feeling—and it's safe.

You set the pace

This isn't about forcing breakthroughs or pushing you faster than you're ready. Some sessions we'll dig deep. Some sessions you'll just need to vent. Both are valuable. You decide what you need.

It's evidence-based but not robotic

I use proven therapeutic approaches but I'm not following a script. We'll adapt the work to what you actually need, not what a manual says you should need.

This is for you if:

You want steady, sustainable progress—not a quick fix or emotional overhaul

You want someone to just tell you what to do without exploring why you're stuck

You prefer a consistent rhythm of care that builds resilience over time

You're in active crisis and need immediate intensive support

You're functioning but exhausted, and you want support before you fall apart

It's probably not for you if...

You're looking for a magic fix that doesn't require any work on your part

You can keep pushing through, hoping things will magically get better. Or you can give yourself the space and support to actually process what you're carrying and start to feel like yourself again.

A year from now, you'll wish you started today.

How long will I need therapy?

It depends. Some clients work with me for a few months to get through a specific challenge. Others stay for years because they value having consistent support. We'll check in regularly about what feels right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don't know what to talk about?

That's completely normal. You don't need to come in with a prepared agenda. We'll figure it out together. Sometimes the most productive sessions start with "I don't even know where to begin."

Do I have to do homework?

Only if it's helpful. I might suggest things to try between sessions—journaling prompts, grounding exercises, experiments to notice patterns—but it's not mandatory. Therapy works even if you just show up and talk.

What if I cancel or need to reschedule?

Life happens. I ask for 24 hours notice when possible, but I understand emergencies come up. We'll work it out.

What happens in the first session?

We'll talk about what brought you in, what you're struggling with, and what you want to get out of therapy. I'll ask questions to understand your background and what's going on now. You'll get a feel for how I work, and we'll decide if it's a good fit.

How do I know if we need couples therapy or individual therapy?

If the problem is between you—communication, conflict, disconnection—couples therapy. If the problem is mostly about you—anxiety, boundaries, your past—individual therapy. Sometimes you need both. We'll figure it out together.

What if I don't think it's working?

Tell me. Seriously. If something's not clicking, we'll talk about it. We can adjust the approach, change the focus, or I can refer you to someone who might be a better fit. Your growth matters more than my ego.

I don't work directly with insurance companies as an in-network provider. If you want to use out-of-network benefits, I'll provide you with the paperwork you'll need to submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement.

Still on the Fence?

let's talk

I completely understand. Starting therapy feels vulnerable, and you might not even be sure you "need" it enough to justify it.
Here's what I can tell you: You don't have to be falling apart to deserve support. You don't need to have a "good enough" reason. Wanting to feel better, wanting space to process, wanting to reconnect with yourself—that's enough.
