SPACE (Supportive parenting for Anxious Childhood emotions)

SPACE is a caregiver-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems.

SPACE was developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center and has been tested and found to be efficacious in randomized controlled clinical trials (in other words: it works, even when kids aren’t directly involved in sessions).

I utilize SPACE in two ways:

1 - One-on-one (or two-on-one) directly with caregivers, where I teach SPACE and we work to completely customize the approach for your situation.

2 - In a group format, where I teach SPACE to you and a small group of other caregivers. We still develop a plan to help your child, but with slightly less individual contact and customization. Get added to the list to be notified about upcoming group openings!

why consider joining a space group?

I offer SPACE groups a few times during the year, and it is a GREAT way to learn about SPACE and implement it in a supportive environment. It is also a more cost-effective way to try it than in individual sessions with me. Click the button below to be added to the info list for details on when the next group is launching.
